About us

The SDC is an alliance of eight general needs landlords and specialist housing providers based around the south and south-west of England.  Each provide a broad range of skills and strengths. By collaborating together, we can cut procurement costs, achieve efficiencies, bid more effectively for funding and share best practice.

Established in 2005 to coordinate development, finance and business support activities for all subsidiaries. Sovereign is the lead partner of the Consortium, and manages nearly 22,000 homes with a development programme of approximately 850 units a year.
