Consortium signs up with three more councils
01.06.2007
Three more local councils have asked Sovereign Housing Group to help them boost affordable housing quotas in their areas.
Southampton, Wokingham and Slough have all signed up Sovereign after reviewing their current partnerships.
SDC director Lindy Morgan said: "Councils don’t just want access to grant-funding, but want partners who will bring something new to the table. We aim to offer all our local authorities all the skills and experience, and the chance to benefit from our work in streamlining our supply chain."
SDC is already building 14 new affordable homes every week, across more than 30 council areas, and has moved quickly to help the councils achieve their goals.
