Ability makes 'best places to work' list
17.03.2011
Ability has been listed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Places to Work in the Public & Charity Sectors and retained its One to Watch status.
This is the second time that Ability has taken part in the Best Companies survey which measures employee engagement and uses 70 questions to gain a comprehensive view of employee engagement across eight factors.
Since last year we have made a 6% improvement in average across all of the factors, enough to get us into the top 100.
Richard Strudwick, Ability Corporate Services Director said: "This is an excellent result for Ability and a clear demonstration that we are on the right track towards becoming a great place to work. We recognise the importance that an engaged workforce brings to the delivery of a better level of service."
Jonathan Austin, CEO and founder, Best Companies comments: "Organisations that have achieved accreditation have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with engaged workforces who tell us that these are great places to work."
